Adult Ministry Opportunities

Our adult ministries are designed to adopt groupings or classification of adults who have reached their 25th birthday.  The adult years cover an age span of more than  twice as long as childhood and teen years combined.

The diversity of age and experience is a challenge to provide organization and activities to meet the interest and needs of adults.  in our Bible study program, classes are provided on age interest levels; we have optional co-educational classes.

Adult Choir

We currently have an adult choir which renders music on the third Sunday of the month at both the 8:00 A.M. and 11:00 a.m. services.  Their rehearsal time is each Monday at 7:30 p.m.  You are invited to share your voice as a servant of the Lord in this ministry.

Christians on Mission

This ministry provides opportunities for Men's Fellowship and Women's Fellowship separately and in unity.  The Missionary Department involves the total church membership.  The mission thrust of the church has several areas of emphasis.  We support the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist General Convention.  Through the Cooperative Program, we are partners with 379,072 other Southern Baptists and 35,604 other Southern Southern Baptists Churches.  The Cooperative Program funds support extensive ministries around the world.

Couples for Christ

Marriage is a challenge.  This ministry is designed to assist couples in strengthening their marriages and families.  We invite soon  be married couples to join this ministry as well.  They meet each 3rd Saturday of the month at 4:00 p.m.

Enough is Enough

"Enough is Enough" is a Twelve Step ""NA" meeting designed to assist those who have drug and alcohol related challenges.  We are here to serve you in every way possible.  This ministry meets each Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

Usher's Ministry

This ministry has the responsibility of assisting everyone and making them as comfortable as possible in all of our services.  Their  goal is to meet your needs and enable you to have a joyful worship experience.

Youth Ministry Opportunities

The Youth Ministry is comprised of young people in grades 7 through 12.   We work with our youth with the goal of producing well balanced, young mature, Christian people who will represent Christ in their homes, on campuses, at work or wherever the situations may be.  Our success is measured not by the programs we put on, but, by the young people we produce.  We have a concern for both the physical and spiritual development of young people.  with this in mind, the youth programs are centered on education through Bible Study, Worship, Praise Dancing, Ushering., etc.

Our youth meets every Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for Praise Dance, Stomp and Usher rehearsals and each Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for Bible study, Choir Rehearsal, etc. 

Special activities for out youth include:  Summer camps, winter retreats, roller skating, ice skating, special summer programs, beach outings, swim parties, movies, picnics and Vacation Bible School.  These are just a few of the opportunities for fun, service, adventure and a challenge to spiritual growth.

Children Ministry Opportunities

This ministry is composed of children from bed babies through the 6th grade.  We strive to help them in the study of the Bible message and plan of God.  We believe the child has a right to the best that God has to offer.  "Children are a gift from God, they are His reward:, Psalms 127:3

Our Children's Ministry offers specific training and music experiences through our Children's Bible study, Choir , Ushering and Praise Dancing as well as other training ministries.  Our children are always ready to take on the task of outside activities such as Summer Camps, Roller Skating, Ice Skating, special summer programs, Beach outings, Movies, Picnics and Vacation Bible School 

This ministry meets on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. for Praise Dancing and Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for Choir rehearsal and Bible study.  We pray that you as parents and friends, will entrust your children to us for God said..."and thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children".

Sunday School (Bible Study)

This is an extremely important educational ministry.  Sunday School/Bible study is made up of six departments to meet the needs of every age grouping from Bed Babies to the Senior most persons.  We utilize this ministry to train and disciple new members and link them into small groups for continual study, and outreach teams to evangelize our community. Our departments are bed babies, children, youth, young adults, adults and senior adults.

Food Bank Ministry

This ministry has been designed to meet the food service needs of our community.  USDA food products are distributed each 3rd Saturday of the month between the  hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon.  There are no pre-qualification or income data required.  You should be able to supply a valid ID.

Saints Alive Ministry

The intent of this group is to provide a fellowship gathering of our youthful adults (Seniors) each 4th Friday of the month.  They have various games, a Potluck Meal, Sing-A-Longs and Field trips to places of interest.

Fun Night Ministry

Fun Night is new to this ministry.  Every 3rd Friday, we gather in the fellowship Hall at 7:00 p.m. to have fun.  The games are: Ping Pong, Pool, Video Games, Card Games, Checkers, Dominos and many others.  There are no age boundaries.  We have something for the youngest to the most senior.  Come and join us for a great time of fellowship.

Transportation Ministry

Transportation is provided for the attendance at our 8:00 a.m. early morning Worship Service, Sunday School and the 11:00 a.m. Worship service.  We will return you home following the 11:00 a.m. Worship time.

You must call the office and leave your request.  The driver will follow-up and advise you of the time of their arrival.
